Going to Nebraska

Today we leave for our week long trip to Nebraska. It is going to be a long day, but I'm sure we will survive! Dax is dropping us off at the airport where we will check our bags and car seat so we only have to carry a backpack and another small bag. We will also be using the stroller to get us to and from the gates and around during our layovers. Harlow is cutting her top tooth today, so that is pretty awesome timing. I have all our meds loaded up in our carry on and will have no problem administering it during the trip as needed. Harlow is such a trooper, through all the trips we have taken so far, so I am honestly not that worried. I just hope that my arms don't fall off from carrying her all day long. Sarah is picking us up at the airport and we get to spend tonight and tomorrow with her and Max. I can't wait to hang out with the little guy and catch up with my bestie. Then, mom is picking us up Thursday and we will head back to D-town for the long weekend. My brothers Kris and Josh will be around, along with their families (Mathew, Piper and Eden). We are going to have a BBQ at my parents new acreage and catch up with all the family. Most of them haven't met Harlow yet! We are going to hit a pumpkin patch sometime during our trip and head back to Omaha to end our visit. I am so excited to have a nice cool breeze in the evening requiring jackets and sock and shoes. Harlow has 5 pairs of shoes packed and I plan on putting her in all of them. It's funny how things change so much when you have a baby girl. I have no idea what I even packed in my bag, but I've been thinking about her packing for weeks!
Dax is sure to be lonely at home so if you think of him, give him a call! I left him a honey do list so we will see how much he gets done without us around to distract him. It will be the longest we have been away from each other, ever. And most definitely the longest away from the baby. I am going to try to post her 9 month pics before we leave today so check back later;-)
