Well, apparently since it has been so long since our last post, the whole blogger format has changed.  Everything I am seeing on my screen is different, and it's going to take me awhile to figure it all out.  Boo, I hate changes and am seriously entering into the age of technology where I can't keep up with it's pace.  NOOOOOO!  I hate admitting that.  But the truth is, I have better things to do with my time (like take a nap) than to fiddle around computer screens and buttons.  The old system worked fine for me.  I wonder if your view is also changed?

Anywho, here are some recent pic of Lo!  She is so much fun, as always, and brightens up every day, even when I am exhausted and only want to collapse on the couch.  Her most recent developments include saying, or at least attempting, more words.  We are working on saying "yes please" and "no thank you" which she sorta has down.  She really is into vehicles these days, and always stops what she is doing when she hears or sees airplanes, helicopters, motorcycles or buses.  She still loves being outside and now that we have moved and have a nice big yard, she is in heaven.  She and Leyla run around the yard together and she just loves it so much.  Of course, Leyla also enjoys the yard!  Lo now has a play room at our new house and so that has been pretty neat to set up for her.  Her favorite animal is still "tigey" or her tiger we got from the zoo.  Her second in command is "monkey" and if she has her way, she sleeps with them both.  She eats so well and we always try to introduce new and healthy foods to her.  Just recently, she has learned the art of dipping and will practically eat anything if she is allowed to dip it!  Wonder how long that will last?  Don't worry, she has her share of french fries and ice cream too;-)  She still is sleeping so very well, we are soooooo lucky in this department.  She rarely wakes at night and if she does, usually something is wrong or she isn't feeling well (duh!).  Other than that, she sleeps 12+ hours a night and takes one 2 hour nap each afternoon.  I use her nap time to my advantage.  It's my nap time too!  I figure that it's not much longer and I will not be napping anymore when Baby JJ arrives so I'm soaking it up while I can! She gives the best neck hugs and kisses.  She knows most of her main body parts and loves to kiss mama's belly.  Of course she doesn't understand her brothers cooking in there, but it's still sweet.  She is kind, friendly and loving.  She also has become a good helper around the house.  She picks up things for me when I drop them, haha.   She puts her laundry away and cleans up her toys when asked (most of the time!!).  We love her so very much, even her feisty little personality!

This pregnancy has been much less stressful than numero uno and time really has flown by!  I'm feeling great, just tired of course.  Dax always steps in to help whenever he can, he is really the best.  He makes dinner at least 3 times per week when I am working and takes over all the household chores over while I'm away too.  That is a pretty spectacular evolution considering when I met him, he only ate take out food.  Seven days a week.  Not an exaggeration.  So, we are a pretty good team!  I'm getting excited to take some time off work and focus on my family but I'm also increasingly getting anxious about caring for the needs to two little people under the age of 2 all day long.  But I'm up for the challenge and so is Dax!  He will be taking a month off work after JJ arrives.   We are so blessed to have these kinds of options.  With Harlow, it was such an amazing time we were able to spend with each other.  This time around will be more like dividing the responsibilities up and keeping everyone sane.  We are starting to get excited to find out what JJ looks like and how he will be similar and different than Lo.  I think he's going to look like Dax;-)

No, we do not have a name picked out.  We have some ideas but haven't made any final decisions and probably won't for awhile yet.  Funny, it's just not as much of a priority as it was with Harlow.  I lost many nights of sleep wondering about her name.  Now, I lose sleep over the millions of ways she could be hurt every day.  Other moms tell me this is normal, so I'm going to stick with that!  HA!  But, yeah, obviously, he will be named before we leave the hospital so that is all that matters!  That is quite the wordy update from me.  Now that we are in the new house and mostly unpacked, you may see a few more updates.  I'm going to try and get Lo's 18 month pictures done when my mom and newphew visit in a couple of weeks.  Her increased mobility requires several photography assistants to get any kind of good still shots!  Here are some cute ones....
